WALTER BAILEY
Walter's work is a celebration of the collective intelligence of the living world. After a childhood overshadowed by violence, he made a choice to explore interconnection and tenderness as a counter to dissociative trauma narratives. Whilst acknowledging the violence of ecocide on human and nonhuman communities, he has worked to create forms redolent of hope and a gratitude for life, creating a personal archeology of artefacts celebrating interspecies survival as a path towards a broken belonging.
Walter will be making a small piece especially for the Portable Open House Gallery.
